Reflection

Reflection Some difficulties we had with the project included lighting, creating the mood and making movements. We were not sure at first how to do the lighting and just had a spotlight. We were not sure how to portray the sadness in our piece with the lights. However, 1 day before we presented our piece we had an idea to put a blue spotlight on me to show the loneliness and sadness. Creating the mood of sadness was not only difficult with the lighting, but also with our movements. In our rough draft, we were all over the place. It took a lot of brainstorming to figure out new movements for our piece that showed sadness. An easy part of the piece would be the title. It did not take a lot of thinking to come up with the name "loney trees", and it worked perfectly for our piece. Something surprising about our piece was how long it took to brainstorm the middle of the piece where I am lonely.
